In TN, Internship training for 10000 students belonging to govt engineering and polytechnic colleges!!
Good news for the students who have studied in the government engineering and polytechnic colleges across TN!!
It is now said that 10000 students belonging to govt engg and polytechnic colleges in TN would be provided with internship training this year. These students would be given opportunities to understand applied technologies used in various industries in TN.
In the industrial internship programme, these students would be able to apply their theoretical knowledge they have gained in the classrooms. This was as per an official from Higher Education dept. An amount of Rs 16.6 cr has been sanctioned as recurring expenditure by the TN govt for this important industrial internship programme. Point is that 2500 students studying in the government colleges would be chosen for this programme. He concluded that 7500 students from various polytechnic colleges would be selected for this internship programme.
The technical skills of the students would get enhanced by this programme. Information gathered is that in this internship programme there would be financial support provided at the rate of Rs 16600 per student for 25 days. According to the courses, all the selected students would be taken by the industries. To learn the latest technology that is in use in the machines present in the industries, these selected students would associate with workers at the industries.
Industrial placement:
It is superb to note that at the end of the internship programme the students might also get selected by the industries according to their skill sets while they were doing internships. Certificates would be issued by the industries at the end of the programme. The official concluded that placements would also be conducted to the students once when they complete their internship training successfully.
