Chennai Outer Ring Road Toll Charges Hiked from April 1
Chennai, March 28, 2025: Toll charges on the Chennai Outer Ring Road (Vandalur to Meenjur) will be increased from April 1, 2025, as announced by the Tamil Nadu Road Development Corporation (TNRDC).
Revised Toll Fees (Vandalur to Meenjur):
- Cars, Jeeps, Vans, Autos – ₹140
- Light Commercial Vehicles – ₹225
- Lorries & Buses – ₹470
- 3-Axle Vehicles – ₹510
- 4 to 6-Axle Heavy Vehicles – ₹735
- Vehicles with 7+ Axles – ₹895
Toll Charges for Other Routes:
- Up to Nemilicherry: ₹20 for cars, ₹40 for light commercial vehicles, ₹85 for lorries & buses.
- Padiyanallur to Meenjur: ₹20 for cars, ₹15 for light commercial vehicles, ₹75 for lorries & buses.
Additionally, 40 out of 78 national highway toll plazas in Tamil Nadu will see revised rates from April 1. Overloaded vehicles will be fined 10 times the standard toll fee.
