CBI has warned the central government that some hackers have planned disrupts the internet website services and sabotages the oncoming election.
India, the largest
democratic country in the world with ensuing parliamentary elections, has drawn
attention and nterest with excitement from other countries all over the world.
In this scenario, certain enemies of India have planned to use this opportunity to create disorder and disruption of elections in India. They plan to sabotage the websites carrying important data about 81.40 Crore people who will vote during the election. This information was collected by CBI and immediately passed on with full details to the central government home ministry.
Hackers from the
USA< Russia, North Korea, China, Pakistan, and UAE plan to do this sabotage.
They will attempt to do this in large cities such as Delhi, Chennai, and
Bangalore.
For example, during the last Assembly elections in Delhi, some search engines stopped working for a few hours and the hacking attempt was thwarted quickly. The hackers operated from NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh as per the information from CBI.
CBI officials confirmed this to the Press.Special anti-hacking squads of experts have been formed. National Information Bureau has also been informed. Firewalls and data-base protection systems have been installed.
Indian websites have been attacked more frequently by hacker during the last one year. Secret information is that there were search engine outages 1801 times in May, 2858 times in June, and 2380 times in July. In August, this increased to 4101 outing of the search engines to be retrieved later.
