S. Jayachandran of North Chennai People Rights Federation, Rayapuram, said candidates promise to make the existing station into a terminal but never implement it till now.
Fishermen stipulate the provision of funds for development of Kasimedu fishing harbor, artificial coral reef for improving fish population and provision of diesel at subsidized price.
Pollution from many chemical industries has been continuously affecting the daily lives of the residents of Manali. Manali fills up with both air and water pollution and making us difficult to breathe; government should take necessary step to reduce the pollution, said P. Bhuvana, a resident.
