GCC Invites Tenders for Marina Beach Cable Car Project

The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) has called for tenders to construct a cable car service at Marina Beach, as per a *Daily Thanthi* report. Interested parties can submit their applications online by December 17.
The tender includes requirements for a detailed proposal, covering design, technical specifications, and a comprehensive review of the project.
The cable car scheme, first announced by the Tamil Nadu government in July 2022, aims to enhance tourism and offer a unique aerial view of Marina Beach, one of Chennai’s iconic landmarks.
