Chennai Piped Water Supply to be Disrupted on March 29-30

Residents in parts of zones 9, 10, and 13 will face piped water supply disruption from 10 a.m. on March 29 to 10 a.m. on March 30, as Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) carries out pipeline interconnection work at Uthamar Gandhi Salai-Sterling Road, Nungambakkam.
Affected Areas:
- Choolaimedu, Thousand Lights, Teynampet, Gopalapuram, Kodambakkam, K.K. Nagar, parts of T. Nagar, and Saidapet.
- Key Water Stations Affected: Valluvar Kottam & Kilpauk Water Works.
Alternative Arrangements:
- Residents are advised to store water in advance.
- ‘Dial for Water’ service available for tanker supply.
- Street supply will be maintained in the affected zones.
