92.10 lakh passengers recorded to have travelled in March, 2025
CMRL has always endeavored to provide the people of Chennai a safe,efficient and a reliable travel partner. A total of 92,10,069 passengers have travelled in the Metro Trains from 01.03.2025 to 31.03.2025.
In the month of January, 2025 a total of 86,99,344 passengers and February, 2025 a total of 86,65,803 passengers have travelled in the Metro Trains.
March 07, 2025 recorded the highest passenger flow for the month of March, with 3,45,862 passengers. Total number of passengers utilized services for March, 2025.
CMRL offers a 20% discount on all ticketing (Metro Travel Card, Mobile QR Code ticketing - Single, Return, Group Tickets and Q.R Trip passes, Whatsapp, Paytm, PhonePe and NCMC Card). Passenger can now also book their tickets through CMRL Whatsapp Ticketing System (+91 83000 86000) and paytm also.
