Chennai Metro to Follow Saturday Schedule on Good Friday (April 18)

On account of Good Friday falling on April 18, Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has announced that it will operate metro train services as per the Saturday schedule tomorrow.
Metro Train Timings:
- Service Hours: 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM
Train Frequency on April 18:
Peak Hours:
- 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM
- 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Trains every 6 minutes
Non-Peak Hours:
- 5:00 AM to 8:00 AM
- 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Trains every 7 minutes
Late Night Service:
- 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Trains every 15 minutes
March Ridership Update:
CMRL witnessed a surge in passenger footfall in March, with 92.10 lakh commuters recorded marking an increase of 5.44 lakh compared to the previous month.
