New designs of gold jewellery items for the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya

As the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya is fast approaching, the jewellery traders have created new and attractive designs of over 1000 gold jewellery items, especially in order to attract the women.
It has been an ages-old tradition with strong belief that investing and buying gold items on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya will bring prosperity, health, and wealth to the family.
This year, the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya falls on 18th April.
As usual, the various jewellery shops throughout the state and the Chennai Metro city have come up with attractive offers of concessional discounts.
Further, the jewelers have created more than 1000 new designs on various jewellery items such as bangles, ear-rings, necklaces, and chains.
In this regard, the general Secretary of the Chennai Gold and Diamond Traders’ Association, S. Santhakumar, xplained:
It has been a long time tradition of the Tamil people to invest in gold on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. As compared to the other important festival days, the people always prefer to buy gold items on auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya. So, we make all-out efforts to answer the public need and preference by creating new designs on various types of jewellery items.
This year also, we have created thousands of new designs. This year, the sales will start from the evening on 17th April and will continue throughout the day on 18th April.
We have created over 3000 items of jewellery items which reflect the Tamil culture including dollars shaped like the Cauvery river, rings, bracelets, and bangles.
Out of our long-time customers, 20% have already booked some of these items. On this auspicious day, we eagerly hope the sales of the jewellery items will be up by 50% more than usual.’
