HR&CE Department Launches Third Phase of Spiritual Tour to Lord Murugans Six Abodes
The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Department is set to commence the third phase of its spiritual tour to Lord Murugan’s six sacred abodes. The tour will begin on Tuesday from Tiruchendur.
A total of 207 senior citizens, aged between 60 and 70, from Tirunelveli, Madurai, Thoothukudi, and Sivagangai districts will participate in this free pilgrimage. The devotees will visit Lord Murugan temples at Thiruparankundram, Tiruchendur, Palani, Swamimalai, Tiruttani, and Palamuthircholai during the tour, according to an official statement.
In the first two phases of the programme, 410 devotees have already been taken on this spiritual journey. The initiative aims to provide elderly devotees with an opportunity to visit these sacred shrines and experience spiritual fulfillment.
This program continues to receive appreciation for its dedication to promoting religious and cultural values among senior citizens.
