Monsoon Showers Expected Across Tamil Nadu; Chennai Receives Overnight Rainfall!

The Regional Meteorological Centre predicts light to moderate rainfall across Tamil Nadu over the next five days, attributed to the ongoing southwest monsoon. From July 10 to 14, showers accompanied by thunderstorms are expected in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
Chennai received light to moderate showers overnight and early Tuesday morning. Notable rainfall measurements include 7 cm in Walajabad (Kancheepuram district), 7 cm in Panapakkam (Ranipet district), 6 cm in Avadi (Tiruvallur district), and 5 cm in Sholinganallur.
