Heavy rains - Holiday declared in Puducherry Schools!

Due to the incessant heavy rains, a holiday has been declared on 17th December (today, Thursday) for all schools in Puducherry.
The rains started on Tuesday (15th December) due to the development of a cyclonic format in the upper layers of the atmosphere. The rain has continued and there has been heavy downpour from Wednesday (16th December) night. With this, the entire Puducherry is flooded! It has been raining since morning today (Thursday, 17th December) as well!
In this situation, Chief Minister Narayanaswamy has declared a holiday today for all schools.
In the order released by the Puducherry Chief Minister, it is mentioned that holidays have been declared for the students in classes 9th, 10th, 11th, & 12th Standards.
