State Disaster Management Team Alerts Tamil Nadu Ahead of Heavy Rains
The State Disaster Management team has issued directives to the District Collectors and the Greater Chennai Corporation to implement precautionary measures ahead of heavy rains forecasted in Tamil Nadu. According to the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), the state is likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall from December 10 to December 13.
In a statement, the Disaster Management team emphasized that all departments must stay vigilant and adhere to standard disaster response protocols.
The team also urged the public to promptly report any emergencies or unexpected situations in their surroundings to ensure swift action. Residents are advised to stay cautious and prepare for possible disruptions during the period of intense rainfall.
