- Wednesday (December 11, 2024): Many parts of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal will experience light to moderate rainfall. Thunderstorms with lightning are likely in a few areas.
- Orange Alert: Heavy to very heavy rain is forecast for isolated areas in Cuddalore, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, Thanjavur, Thiruvarur, and Pudukkottai districts, as well as Karaikal.
- Heavy rain is also predicted for Sivaganga, Ramanathapuram, Tiruchi, Perambalur, Ariyalur, Kallakurichi, Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram, Chennai, Tiruvallur, and Puducherry.

- Heavy to very heavy rain is likely in isolated places, particularly in Thanjavur, Sivaganga, Pudukkottai, and Tiruchi districts.
- Other districts, including Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Kallakurichi, Cuddalore, Ariyalur, Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam, Mayiladuthurai, Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram, Chennai, Tiruvallur, Theni, Madurai, Ramanathapuram, Karur, Perambalur, Thoothukudi, and Dindigul, as well as Puducherry and Karaikal, may also experience heavy rainfall in isolated areas.
