For the first time, Jaguar Land Rover luxury cars to be manufactured in TN!!
Tata Motors has been constructing a 9000 crores car plant in the state of Tamil Nadu. It is now brought to light by some reports that Tata Motors would be manufacturing Jaguar Land Rover or JLR luxury cars at this plant.
Multi product line combination is being considered by Tata Motors for the TN plant and it would have passenger car vehicles from JLR range. Electric vehicles would be the other option. In the month of June or in early July, an official announcement would come out regarding this. It is superb to note that vehicle manufacturers in this TN plant would be sold in India as well as in foreign countries.
Point to be noted is that if Tata Motors finalises the manufacture of high end cars in TN then it would be the first time high end cars would be made in India.
