Inauguration of medical camps in Saidapet in tie ups with many hospitals!!
On Sunday, 16th March, TN health minister Mr. M. Subramanian was busy inaugurating special medical camps in tie-ups with several private hospitals in Saidapet constituency in south Chennai.
According to the health minister it was clear that efforts are being taken to identify individuals in need of advanced treatments and take actions to provide them with specialised care.
Various activities have been organised for the residents of Chennai that include blood donation camps, competitions etc as a part of TN chief minister Mr. M.K. Stalin`s 72nd birthday celebrations.
In collaboration with many private hospitals in Chennai such as Apollo Hospitals, MGM Hospitals, Karpaga Vinayaga Medical College and Hospitals, Madras Medical Mission, Kauvery Hospitals, SIMS Hospitals and Tagore Medical College Hospital, 7 medical camps have been set up.
These camps took place from 8am in the morning till 3pm and many residents took this opportunity with both their hands. It is worthy to note that various medical departments like general medicine, cardiology, orthopaedics, ophthalmology and dentistry etc were provided. Truth is that for more complex treatments, efforts were taken to identify patients to provide specialised care.
It was brought out by the state health dept release that standing committee chairpersons, ward councillors plus senior officials belonging to GCC and Health department were part of the event.
