With coherence to Jallikattu ordinance, the preparations are getting much intense and bigger at Aalanganallur Vaadi Vaasal for the game now. Madurai Collector, Mr. Veera Raghav has already inspected the ground and ambience. Youngsters all over the state of Tamil Nadu have been consistently expressing their protest to lift the ban on Jallikattu and to eliminate the association of PETA from the country. The protest has been going on full swing with huge intensity for the past 5 days and the entire Central and State Government has been stunned over this organized protest. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneer Selvam flew down to New Delhi for meeting PM Modi for granting some favourable support, but the latter subjected that the matter is with the legal court and nothing can be done from his end, but there is complete support from him as he affirmed.
Sooner, the discussions and advocacies were held pertaining to the elimination of bulls from the list of non-public exhibition and the norms are being prepared now to send it for the approval from Central Government. The proposal was gladly accepted by Wildlife and Forest ministry, Legal ministry and Internal Affairs Department. O Panneer Selvam, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister is returning back to Chennai today.
If everything goes well as proceeded, the Jallikattu ordinance would be passed on today (January 21) and without any legal issues, Jallikattu will be held with smooth proceeding tomorrow, Sunday (January 22) as planned by Tamil Nadu Government.
Madurai Collector Veera Raghav has already completed inspecting and monitored the security aspects at Vaadi Vasal, Aalanganallur. They are keenly waiting for the approval for the game of Jallikattu to commence, which would be favourably received shortly in time.
