Chief Minister O Panneerselvam has mentioned that Jallikattu will take place in Tamil Nadu in a day or two.
While speaking to media in New Delhi Chief Minister O Pannerselvam said: In a day or two, an ordinance in support of Jallikattu will be passed in the state assembly. Some amendments have been in the Central act on Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and have been sent to the Union Home Ministry. After getting the approval of the President and the governor, the ordinance will be passed in a day or two. After this, Jallikattu will be conducted in Tamil Nadu.
