The public, including those who have no bank savings accounts or those having bank savings accounts in a different bank, can now enter the Aadhar Service centre in any bank/branch.
The central government has ordered that it is mandatory to link Aadhar card details with the mobile phone, bank savings account, PAN card, etc. So, lots of crowds gather in the Aadhar card service centre for the needful. In order to improve the facility for this, the central government has taken the initiative of setting up Aadhar service centres in the banks and the Post Offices.
As it has become mandatory to link the bank account with Aadhar card, the public and private sector banks have set up Aadhar service centres in their banks at the ratio of 1 Aadhar Service centre per 10 branches.
However, the customers/public are not aware the details of the branches with Aadhar service centres. Now, UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) has made arrangements for the public to easily locate the bank branches with Aadhar service centres.
Go to the website:
https://appointments.uidai.gov.in/easearch.aspx. A screen will appear. Once the details of the state, district, and the name of the place are entered, the details of the bank branches with Aadhar Service centres and the contact person will be displayed.
It is further informed that even those who have no bank savings accounts or those having bank savings accounts in a different bank, can now enter the Aadhar Service centre in any bank/branch.
