New Tambaram Rameswaram Pamban Express Train Schedule Announced
Southern Railway has released the schedule for the new Pamban Express, which will operate between Tambaram and Rameswaram. The train service is set to run on the newly constructed Pamban Railway Bridge, built at a cost of ₹550 crore in Ramanathapuram district. The bridge will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 6.
As per the schedule:
- Train No. 16103 (Pamban Express) will depart from Tambaram at 6:05 PM daily and reach Rameswaram at 5:45 AM the next day, passing through Villupuram, Chidambaram, Thiruvarur, Pattukottai, and Paramakudi.
- Train No. 16104 will depart from Rameswaram at 3:35 PM daily and arrive at Tambaram at 3:10 AM the next day.
This new train service aims to enhance connectivity and boost travel convenience between Chennai and Rameswaram.
