Sensational!! Longest Hyperloop tube in the World - Hyperloop project under development in IIT Madras!!
IIT M or Indian Institute of Technology, Madras would be adding a superb feather to its cap in the future regarding hyper loop transportation!!
It is now believed that the ambitious hyper loop project under development at IITM would feature the longest hyperloop tube in Asia. Sounds incredible right!!
This hyperloop tube would be 410m and would become the world`s longest soon. This was mentioned by the Union minister Mr. Ashwini Vaishaw.
The hyperloop project at IITM was inspected by the Minister for Railways, IB and IT on a short visit to Chennai. He hinted that the electronics component technology for the Hyperloop project would be developed at ICF Chennai.
In a social media post on Sunday, the minister Ashwini Vaishnaw mentioned that the Longest Hyperloop tube in Asia (410m) would soon be World`s longest@ iitmadras. He shared his video on his visit to IITM campus.
FIFTH mode of transport:
It is noteworthy that hyperloop is regarded as the 5th mode of transportation, a high speed train that would travel in a near vacuum tube. The capsule inside the tube would reach speeds of more than 1000 kmph due to the reduced air resistance.
Indigenous technologies have been used to develop the entire testing system for Hyperloop transportation.
It must be recalled that in May 2022 the Ministry of Railways approved an allocation of Rs 8.34cr to IITM to indigenously develop and validate Hyperloop transportation system and its subsystems.
