With the beginning of the Sabarimala season, Swami Ayyappan Temple in Anna Nagar near Tower Park is visited by several devotees now. This has been creating heavy traffic congestion here.

The important news is in order to avoid this traffic congestion problem the police belonging to Anna Nagar have done some special parking arrangements.

The Second Avenue signal present near this popular temple has not been functioning for past 5 years and this signal has been repaired. It has been nearly a week since the Sabarimala season has begun and devotees have been coming to this temple every morning and in the evening.

Point is these visitors park their vehicles opposite to the temple on Second Avenue and 6th Main Road thereby creating traffic congestion. This was revealed by Anna Nagar traffic police personnel Mr. Shakthivel.  It must be noted that the motorbikes and school vans that ply on the road find it difficult to get out of the 6th Main Road and enter Second Avenue and vice-versa.

For the sake of devotes visiting this Swami Ayyappan temple in Anna Nagar, now separate space for parking their vehicles has been arranged at the Second Avenue. The superb piece of information is temporary place has been set up with barricades and this place would have space for at least 100 vehicles.

An audio system has also been arranged on the road for the devotees to know about the place of parking of their vehicles. The superb news now is since Thursday there has been less traffic congestion here.
