Special movies to be screened by popular TV channels on Deepavali

Several popular and latest movies are scheduled to be screened by different popular satellite TV channels on the special occasion of Deepavali - Theri and Devi on SUN TV, Vikram Vedha on Zee Tamil, Maanagaram on Vijay TV.

As per the recent lifestyle trend of the last few decades, it has become an established routine of enjoyment to watching the special programmes on different popular satellite TV channels in addition to the traditional new clothes, firecrackers, and sweets and savouries.

It is also a decades-old tradition that new movies will be released on the big screens in the theatres. In this scenario, the popular TV channels have put forward their efforts to screen some popular and successful films which were released only just recently, not being more than 2-3 months old!

For example, the much-acclaimed and popular hit film, Vikram Vedha (Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi combo) is scheduled to be screened on Zee Tamil channel.
Vijay TV will screen another very popular film – Maanagaram.

Another hugely-successful film of mammoth production values at international level, Bahubali-2 (starring Prabhas, Rana Daggupatti, Ramya Krishnan, Anushka, Nasser, and Satyaraj) will be screened again. It was shown only recently on 8th October. However, base on the demand from the viewers, it is being screened again on Deepavali festival day.
 
Theri, another super-hit film starring Vijay and Samantha, will be screened on Sun TV in the evening. Another hit film, of the genre of thrillers, Devi, starring Prabhudeva and Tamanna will be screened at 11.00 AM.

Kalaignar TV will screen the film Paiya, starring Karthi, and Varuthappadatha Vaaliber Sangan, starring Sivakarthikeyan

A special episode of the popular programme, ‘Nathchathira Jannal’ on Pudhuyugam TV, will be screened, featuring a session with the popular actor Nikki Galrani, sharing her film experiences and other matters of interest. This will be screened at 10.00 AM on Deepavali day.

A special humour ‘Pattimandram’ (Debate/group presentation) on the topic ‘Whether to live only for the self-interest or to live in the society’s interest’ will be conducted and screened on Pudhuyugam TV at 11.00 AM. The pattimandram will be chaired by the popular comedian actor-director Ramesh Khanna and participated by popular speakers.

New, recent movies are being screened on other popular TV satellite channels including Jaya TV, Raj TV, Polymer TV, and KTV.
