Superb!! House Systems to be introduced for the first time in the TN Govt schools!!
How the students who are studying in the government and aided schools across TN would know about leadership quality and spirit of teamwork etc? The answer for this would be known on 20th of November.
It is now said that the School Education Dept would be introducing ``House Systems`` for the first time to these above-mentioned schools for instilling leadership qualities and spirit of teamwork etc in the students. Superb isn`t it!!
On 20th of November, the house system programme would be introduced officially at a school in Nungambakkam in Chennai by the education minister Mr. Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi. This new house system programme would be introduced in all the state run schools. The students from all the classes would be segregated into different groups. Various categories that would be present in the state run schools would be kurunji, mullai, marutham, neithal and palai. This was as per the school education department.
It was mentioned by a primary school teacher that the house system would be totally new for the govt school students. The teacher then spoke about how from class 1 to 12 the students would be segregated into 5 of the groups mentioned above. Point is that several activities would be conducted within and between these groups. It is noteworthy that in case of primary schools the groups would be separated with students from classes 1 to 5 and in case of middle schools the group would have students from 1 to 8. Based on the factors like punctuality, learning ability, participation in different forums and art festivals etc, the students segregated would be accessed.
Calculation would be done based on the score on these above said aspects. To announce the well performing group as the winner for the academic year, the total score would be taken into account
