10th waste collection drive in Chennai soon!!
On 1st and 2nd of February, 10th waste collection drive has been scheduled and Kasturba Nagar Residents Association or ROKA are gearing up for this.
For morning 10 to evening 5pm, the waste collection drive would be taking place in several locations in Chennai. It is worthy to note that the various designated drop-off points include KNRA Hall in Adyar, On Axis in Velachery, RMSM Aaasthan- Public Gym in Thiruvanmiyur, Spreco recycling facility at West Tambaram,Chinna Neelankarai based Singaravelan Oceanside Welfare Association and Kotturpuram based Chennai Corporation park.
This upcoming waste collection drive would also witness many apartment communities present in locations like Adambakkam, Perumbakkam, Karpagam Gardens, Vadapalani etc taking part.
Various items that this event would accept would be bags, clothes, foot wears, e-waste, tablet strips, ballpoint pens, mattresses, Xrays, glass bottles, books and plastics etc. The items must be clean and dry and soiled ones would not be accepted.
