Southern Railways Opens Summer Vacation Ticket Reservations
With the summer vacation season approaching, Southern Railways has started advance ticket bookings for April travel, as many passengers prepare to visit their hometowns.
High Demand for April Train Travel
Popular express trains such as Tirunelveli, Kanniyakumari, Pandiyan, Ananthapuri, and Guruvayur Express are witnessing a surge in bookings, especially for the second week of April. In several trains, the sleeper-class waiting list has already exceeded the limit, while AC coaches still have available seats.
Changes in Reservation Window
Previously, passengers could book tickets 120 days in advance, but Southern Railways has now reduced the booking window to 60 days. Travelers planning their summer trips are advised to reserve their seats early to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
