People belonging to the state of TN are reeling under searing heat.
It is now revealed by the Chennai Meteorological Department that today and tomorrow the maximum temperature would increase by 4 degrees Celsius in some places in TN. It must be noted that currently in the lower atmosphere there is a convergence of east and west winds. As a result, moderate rains with thunder and lightning are likely to occur in some places in TN, Puducherry and Karaikal etc.
Moderate rains could continue till 30th April in TN. In some places in TN, the maximum temperature might increase by 4 degrees Celsius. As a result of high temperatures, people who go outdoors might feel uncomfortable. Today, the sky would be partly cloudy in Chennai and in the suburbs. Today, the maximum temperature might be 38 degrees.
It is worth mentioning here that as of yesterday the maximum temperature that was recorded was at Karur and Vellore and it was 104 degrees Fahrenheit or more than 40 degrees Celsius. Trichy airport and Madurai recorded a temperature of more than 39.5 degrees Celsius yesterday.
Information gathered is that in places like Chennai Meenambakkam, Dharmapuri, Thanjavur, Tirupathur and Tiruttani etc the temperature of 38 degrees Celsius was recorded.
