Harvest Fresh Farms, certified organic farm, set in the lush, fertile Cumbum Valley, Tamil Nadu, a short 15 min drive from Thekkady. While their primary crop is organic pomegranates, they also grow Papaya, Mango, Sapota, Coconut, Tender Coconut and a variety of other fruit. We have a nursery of our high yielding plants as well as an apiary for excellent organic honey.
The farm being located in the scenic Cumbum Valley, flanked by mountains that touch the clouds, the climate is extremely conducive for a refreshing getaway or holiday. Harvest Fresh Farms extend their hospitality in the form of a charming farmstay in our cottage on the farm. They also welcome day trips and farm visit. Guests are welcomed on a charming bullock cart ride, indulge in delicious local cuisine, feed the farm animals, help in harvesting fruit, learn the ropes of organic farming and relax on watch towers simply taking in the serenity of the valley. The farm stay has three well appointed rooms fitted with modern amenities.
