Sarada Sakthi Peetam (SSP) in Perungalathur, Chennai, formerly known as Shri Ramakrishna Seva Gurukulam, has been serving the underprivileged since its inception in 1988. The organization, deeply rooted in spiritual, medical, educational, and orphanage services, provides care to around 200 children across its two branches in Chennai and Karaikal. The latter was established in 2004 to assist children affected by the 2004 Tsunami.
SSP focuses on empowering children by offering them quality education. Students are supported to complete their schooling up to the 10th or 12th grade, with academically inclined children encouraged to pursue higher education. The institution`s efforts are fueled by donations from generous philanthropists.
SSP appeals to the public to contribute to its mission of helping destitute children build brighter futures. Various donation schemes are available to suit different levels of giving, ensuring that every donor can make a meaningful impact. The institution`s goal is to help these children become self-reliant and stand on their own feet.
