For the third consecutive term, the Government of Karnataka has nominated Dr. UT Iftikhar Ali as a Syndicate Member of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore. Dr. Iftikhar Ali, a distinguished professor at Shetty College of Physiotherapy in Mangaluru, previously served in various capacities within RGUHS, including Academic Council Member, Board of Studies Member, and Senate Member.
An alumnus of Dr. MV Shetty College, Dr. Iftikhar Ali holds a BPT degree from Mangalore University, an MPT degree from RGUHS, and a Ph.D. from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. His multifaceted contributions extend beyond academia, as he also serves as the Working President of Karnataka State Physiotherapy Federation.
Hailing from a family dedicated to public service, Dr. Iftikhar Ali is the son of the late Ullal MLA UT Farid and the brother of State Legislative Assembly Speaker UT Khader. His commitment spans various sectors, including health, education, and social service.
