During a press conference held yesterday (Wednesday, 19th April), Scientist Ebenezer from the Kodaikanal Climate Research Centre shared that after a gap of around 150 years, the Kangana Solar Eclipse and the Poorana Solar Eclipse (a full solar eclipse) would occur today (Thursday, 20th April) from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM.

It is important to note that this solar eclipse will only be visible in Australia and adjacent regions. To allow tourists and citizens to witness the eclipse, the Kodaikanal Climate Research Centre has made special arrangements for a live telecast of the event on their website. Visitors to the Centre will also be granted free admission between 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM.

It is noteworthy that this unique solar eclipse will not occur again until 2172!
