Traffic Diversions and Parking Guidelines for India vs England T20 Match on January 25, 2025
The Greater Chennai Traffic Police have announced traffic diversions and parking guidelines for The 2nd match of T20 International Men`s Cricket, 2025 between India & England is scheduled to take place on 25.01.2025 (Saturday) at M.A. Chidambaram Cricket Stadium. As huge number of spectators are expected for the match, the following Traffic Diversions are proposed at the corresponding roads which will be implemented from 1400 hrs to 2300 hrs on the match day.
Proposed Traffic Diversions:
Victoria Hostel Road (Canal Road): Victoria Hostel road Entry only via Bharathi Salai. No Entry from Wallajah road.
Bells Road:
- Bell`s road will be operated as One Way. Entry from Bharathi Salai
- No Entry from Wallajah Salai.
Bharathi Salai:
- All Vehicles from Ratna Cafe towards Kamarajar Salai will be diverted at Bell`s road X Wallajah Salai.
- Vehicle from Bells Road towards Kannagi statue it`s not permitted.
Kamarajar Salai (Marina Beach Road): After 22.00 hrs vehicles from Napier Bridge to Kannagi Statue is closed due to Republic day arrangement.
