The Management of Thiruvannamalai Arunachaleeswarar Temple has recommended the ideal time to undertake Girivalam during the ensuing Karthigai Pournami (Full Moon Day).
Ensuing Pournami (Full Moon Day) occurs on 2nd December (Saturday) starting from 11.45 AM till 10.23 PM on 3rd December (Sunday). This is the ideal period to undertake Girivalam.
