Job opportunities reduce by 18% in October!

Generally, there will be rise in sales during the festive season and also more job opportunities.
This was expected during the current festive season starting from October.
However, as per the reports from the Job Opportunity Organisation ‘Naukri’, the job opportunities in October have reduced by 18% as compared to September,
IT & BPO related jobs have reduced by 15% & 17% respectively.
In Chennai, the reduction was 14%.
There has been a reduction in job opportunities in Insurance and Banking industries as well.
However, this trend is expected to reverse in the coming months.
