Indian Army announces job vacancy for Territorial Army Officer Posts

Indian Army has invited applications for recruitment to various posts of Territorial Army Officer post. The interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by June 30.

Eligibility criteria:
Educational qualification:
The candidates applying for either of the posts are required to have graduated from a recognised university.
Age limit:
The candidates applying for the posts should age between 18 and 42 years.
Work experience:
The candidates should have been employed in central government/ semi government/ private firm.
Pay Scale:
- Lieutenant: PB-3 Rs 15,600 - 39,100 with grade pay Rs 5,400
- Captain: PB-3 Rs 15,600 - 39,100 with grade pay Rs 6,600
- Major: PB-3 Rs 15,600 - 39,100 with grade pay Rs 6,600
- LT Colonel: PB-4 Rs 37,400 - 67,000 with grade pay Rs 8,000
- Colonel: PB-4 Rs 37,400 - 67,000 with grade pay Rs 8,700
- Brigadier: PB-4 Rs 37400-67000 with grade pay Rs 8900
How to apply:
In order to apply, the candidates are required to obtain the application form from the employment newspaper. Or the candidates can visit the www.indianarmy.gov.in link. The candidates are required to send a self-addressed stamped envelope of 28 x12 cms size, two passport-size photographs and postal stamps worth Rs 12 (Rs 25 for J&K) affixed on envelop to the respective TA Group headquarters as per the area.
