The results of the candidates who took the Teachers’ Entrance Test including the Weightage and the marks have been released as a government order.
As per the previous system, a score of 60% for a total of 150 was considered as ‘pass’ in the examination. Later, 5% was reduced for the backward classes. The government has announced that a mark of 82 (out of 150) would be a ‘pass’ mark.
Presently, the Weightage is assessed after considering the mark scored in the examination, the marks scored in +2, marks obtained in B. Ed., and the marks obtained in the Teachers’ Training Test.
The Education Chief Secretary, Ms. T. Sabitha has released the Weightage details yesterday as a government order.
