Many students get jobs on the occasion of Chief Minister’s 66th birthday

On the occasion of Chief Minister’s 66th Birthday University of Madras organized a mega job fair for its students recently, wherein several postgraduates and research scholars found jobs with multinational companies.The event was specially organised for students of life sciences and niche branches of studies that usually fail to attract recruiters.
the fair, a first of its kind in many years, was the beginning of a series of job fairs for students of the University.
Among the recruiters were HCL Technologies, TNQ Publishing, Sutherland, M.V. Hospitals and Just Dial.
Over 70 students, University officials said, had managed to get job offers from companies. Of these, 66 will receive their offer letters from the University vice-chancellor soon.
