S.S.L.C Completed Students can Chip in Students who have completed S.S.L.C have got a golden opportunity to fit themselves in a right job.
Two years training along with the stipend for the job of Engineers and Navigators for Fishing Ships and Merchant Shipping have been in hand for S.S.L.C completed students.
All India Entrance Exams for this coaching will be furnished on 21 June. The Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and Engineering Training (CIFNET) functioning under Central Agricultural Department have been carrying out these coaching classes.
The CIFNET centres in around 48 places, including Chennai, Cochin, Vishagapatinam has been done with the arrangements for carrying out Vessel Navigator and Marine trainings.
Requisites:
Students who have completed the S.S.L.C exam with above 50 % marks in both Maths and Science can take up this training. Students will be selected based on the All India Entrance Exam. Age limit should be in between 16 to 20.
On successful completion of this training, the qualified students can very well take part as the Fishing Ship drivers or Engineers, and Engineers and Captains of the Merchant Shipping.
