A new procedure introduced for ‘on-line’ job opportunities for 10th & 12th Standards

A new procedure is being introduced from this year for 10th & 12th students registering for job opportunities on-line. This will reduce the time delay in the current procedure.

Earlier, the 10th & 12th students had to visit the district employment exchanges to register for job opportunities.  Apart from having travel up to the district employment exchange headquarters, the students encounter other difficulties as well.In order to reduce the necessity for travel and simplify the registration procedure, the facility to register ‘on-line’ was introduced 2 years ago.

User ID card

The district employment officials will visit the various schools and train the school administration staff. They will also give a unique User ID card secret password. The school administration staff will complete the employment exchange registration procedure. On the day when the mark sheets for the 10th& 12th exams are released the marks obtained will be registered in the employment exchange application.

Apart from the entry of marks, other particulars such as same date of birth, address, caste, ration card details, etc will also be entered. An employment exchange registration card also will be given immediately.

Reducing the delay

Even though the data may be entered on different dates, all students will be given the same seniority for registration .As the details have to be entered on-line as per the serial number of each student, it takes more time. The new procedure will prevent this time delay. The particulars of student’s name, date of birth, address, and ration card details would be obtained earlier and entered earlier on the computer.

Before 2nd May

The details of mark alone will be entered on the computer in the day when they are announced. So, this procedure does not require the student to fill up a lot of details at one time.

Thus, all details would be available on the computer in advance except the certificate. This will facilitate a quicker registration and issue of card to all students on the same day.

For this purpose, The School Education Board has instructed all principals and headmasters of high schools to collect all data about the 10th & 12thstudents before 2nd May.
