RPF to recruit 4,000 women constables

Southern Railway Chief Security Commissioner B. Mohan has mentioned that Railway Protection Force will soon initiate the process of recruiting over 4,000 women constables in tune with the Union Railway Minister’s proposal to depute women constables in women coaches.
Mr. Mohan said most of the vacancies in the rank of Sub-Inspectors in the RPF could be filled up soon as 450 recruits were under practical training. Similarly, most of the 1,000 posts of constables would be filled up after completion of recruitment process.
