Starting self-business (entrepreneurship) – Loans for 1000 individuals!

Tamil Nadu government’s Minister for Industry, Mr. Mohan informed that there is a plan to provide loan faculties with subsidies on behalf of the Government Centre for Entrepreneurship for 1000 individuals interested in starting their own business.
The minister inaugurated the seminar on ‘Creating Job Opportunities for the Educated Unemployed’ conducted on Tuesday, 28th October.
The minister informed that a total grant of Rs. 260 Crores has been allotted for the development of Mini, small and medium scale industries.
13229 companies have benefited so far. The process of issuing temporary registration certificates and permanent registration certificate (from the Zonal Joint Directors ‘offices of the district industrial centres).is being uploaded on the internet.
Temporary approval has been granted for 1048 applicants in the last 2 years. Entrepreneurship training has been given to 929 persons. So far, 701 persons out of this 929 have been given loans for a total of Rs. 74 Crores with subsidy.
During this year, there is a plan for conducting entrepreneurship training for 1000 persons and grant them loans with subsidies.
