The Thirumalai Tirupathi Devasthanam Board (TTD)announced that on the occasion of the sacred Vaikunta Ekadasi, the ‘Sorga Vaasal’ (Paradise Gates) will remain open for around 10 days from 19th January until 22nd January.
The sacred occasion of ‘Vaikunta Ekadasi’ falls on 13th January 2022. On this occasion, devotees will be allowed to enter the ‘Sorga Vaasal’ for 10 days from 13th January until 22nd January.
The devotees who had booked online for the Rs. 300/- Special Darshan tickets, the devotees on Free Darshan, and the devotees who had procured online tickets for holy events such as Kalyana Utsavam and Arjitha Brahmotsavam
Will all be allowed inside the Sorga Vaasal from 9.00 AM as per the time allotted to them!
Arrangements have been made to allow 45000 devotees daily for the Darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara at the Tirupathi Temple.
Important note:
DEVOTEES COMING FOR DARSHAN OF LORD VENKATESWARA MUST HAVE THE PROOF OF HAVING BEEN ADMINISTERED WITH THE DOUBLE DOSE OF CORONA VACCINE. OTHERWISE, THEY HAVE TO PRODUCE THE NEGATIVE CERTIFICATE ON CORONA TESTS TAKEN 48 HOURS BEFORE THE JOURNEY!
DEVOTEES WITH SYMPTOMS FOR FEVER, BODY-ACHE, AND COLD MUST NOT UNDERTAKE DARSHAN!
An official of the TTD shared: “During January and the Sacred Vaikunta Ekadasi occasion and the associated celebrations from 13th to 22nd January, 30000 Laddus will be sold daily at the TTD Information Centre located in the Chennai Metro City!”
