An important announcement by AICTE about counselling for engineering courses!

The admission to pursue higher education after school will be based on the marks as assessed by the schools. So, the students are eagerly expecting and awaiting the mark lists!
In this scenario, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has informed that the counselling for engineering courses MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE 10TH OCTOBER!
It is further announced that the classes for the 1st year students MUST COMMENCE ON 25TH OCTOBER.
Based on the above, it is expected that the counselling for the engineering courses will commence shortly.
Meanwhile, AICTE has also released the time=table regarding the admission and counselling for engineering courses.
The Member Secretary of AICTE Rajeev Kumar has released an announcement regarding this. It is mentioned in this announcement:
The 1st Phase of counselling for technology courses including engineering MUST BE COMPLETED BY 30TH SEPTEMBER AND ADMISSIONS MUST START! The classes for all other engineering students except the 1st year students MUST COMMENCE ON 1ST OCTOBER!
In a similar vein, the 2nd Phase of counselling MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE 10TH OCTOBER AND ADMISSIONS MUST START.
The candidates who got selected for admission to engineering courses BUIT NOT INTERESTED IN JOINING can get the full refund of the amount paid as admission fees!
As for the 1st year students, THE CLASSES MUST COMMENCE ON 25TH OCTOBER.
The direct admission to the 2nd Year should also be completed BEFORE 30TH October!
