Over 1.20 Lakh Students Expected to Join Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu!
The Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE) in Tamil Nadu has announced the provisional seat allotment for the third round of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2024, with 51,920 students receiving seats. In total, over 1.23 lakh students have been provisionally allocated seats across the three rounds of counselling.
More than 1.97 lakh candidates applied for engineering seats this year, with the admissions process starting on May 6 and the rank list being released on July 10. Counselling for the first three rounds was completed between July 29 and August 25.
Supplementary counselling will be conducted from September 6-8 to fill any remaining seats with students who passed the special supplementary exams for Class 12. Registration for this round is open until September 4.
