Improving the healthcare services for the tribal communities and rural population!!

Medical services during emergency situations in the remote areas of Tiruvannamalai would be superb with the introduction of 5 bike ambulance services on Thursday, 26th December 2024.

It must be taken into account that the TN health minister Mr. M. Subramanian launched the bike ambulances and grabbed the attention. An amount of Rs 1.6 cr has been allocated by the TN government for launching 25 bike ambulances across TN.

Blood testing equipment for 20 mobile medical units and 9 new healthcare buildings were inaugurated by the health minister yesterday. Information collected is that the inauguration of sub health centres and regional public health centres in Tiruvannamalai dist come under this. It is superb to note that the medical services for the tribal communities and rural populations etc would become better.

It is known that the Govt Primary Health Care Centre at Nammiyampattu in Tiruvannamalai district has been upgraded and the health minister made his presence felt at this health care centre. he then took time to meet the patients who were receiving treatment at this facility and inquired about their health. The good news is that steps would be taken for setting up an operation theatre at this health care centre.

Across the state of TN, there are about 2200 villages in the remote and hilly areas. In the future, health care services would be provided to all the places in TN and the government is taking steps for this.

Bike ambulance features:

Various important features that would be available in the bike ambulances are oxygen gas, basic essential medicines, reclining seats etc. This was according to the health minister.
