Super news!! Multi Level parking or MLP facilities planned at Tiruvottiyur and Kodambakkam!!
Tiruvottiyur in north Chennai and Kodambakkam in south Chennai are busy commercial areas is well known to us.
In the future, we might come across multilevel parking facilities in Tiruvottiyur and Kodambakkam.
The latest news is GCC or Greater Chennai Corporation has planned to develop multilevel parking facilities or MLP with commercial complexes in these places for 25 years. For this, GCC would float a tender. On the basis of design, build, finance, operate and transfer or DBFOT for 25 years, GCC would be implementing developmental work for the MLP facility with a commercial complex at Kodambakkam zonal office and at Tiruvottiyur municipality corporation centre.
It is noteworthy that the Chennai Corporation has allotted Rs 5lakh each for the developmental works. On 23rd April, a tender would be floated. On 13th March, authorities would chair a pre-bid meeting and it would take place at 3pm. At the inviting authority`s office at the Ripon building on the same day, the tender would be opened.
It must be noted that the bidders must submit the required documents including the latest contractor registration certificate from either the state or central government to the respective officials.
