World Meteorological Day to be celebrated on March 23

On March 23, the regional meteorological centre will celebrate World Meteorological Day.
The theme for this year’s celebration would be ‘Weather and Climate: engaging youth’. Prof Narayana Rao, director (research), SRM University, will be the chief guest and Prof R Jagananthan, head of the geography department will be the guest of honour at the their centre on College Road.
