Microsoft withdraws updates and support for Windows XP

Chapter of Microsoft Windows XP is now over and the MNC has now switched off all its support and updates for the operating system yesterday. This 13-year old operating system will no more have updates or support in case of any findings of vulnerabilities. Users can however avail third party support which would obviously be very expensive. Though the operation system can be used further, due to absence of support, chances are high that it would turn more vulnerable.

This would ultimately drag the users to switch over to Windows 7 or 8. This changeover will also empty your pockets because of the higher rates you ought to pay for it. Those numbers of users with desktop computers may choose to upgrade some of the parts, but laptop users are left with no choice other than changing the entire set up. Henceforth, these old Windows XP systems can be made of good use for any of the below needs:
  • Listen music
  • Watch TV
  • Word processor
  • Accounts management
  • Data server
  • Multimedia server
  • Internet router
  • Knowledge activities
