As we tend to sweat more during summer, it is usual we have an irritated look and a bit short-tempered. Apart from the sweating, the body would have become warmer and there will be a burning sensation. It is rather difficult to spend the summer!

However, if we follow a certain set of activities in the summer, it is still possible to remain fresh! Here is a list:
  • Some people do not take bath during other seasons. However, it is important to take bath daily in the morning to remain fresh. It is better to use sops with good perfumes as this would keep the body fresh & smelling good. It would also keep the skin dry to a certain extent. Further, it will prevent oily & sweaty looks.
  • Avoid using deodorizers. These tend to block the press in the skin and also block the release of perspiration. It is better to use perfumes rather than deodorizers. You can use talcum powders. These tend to absorb the sweat. This will help reduce the foul smell generated by the sweat.
  • It is also recommended to take a second bath in the evening after returning from work. This will reduce the irritating sensation felt through the daytime in the summer. It will also ensure good sleep in the night.
  • It is better t take bath in the normal water rather than hot water. This will reduce the body heat and the body will tend to remain fresh.
  • It is also better to pour water on the head while taking bath. This will help reduce the stuffy feeling in the neck which will feel cooler.
  • Avoid silk & synthetic dresses. Cotton cloths are the best. It will keep the body fresh. It is better to be simple. It is also better to avid footwear which covers the feel fully. The sweat in the feet generates such a bad smell.
  • While going out, ensure avoiding direct exposure from the sun rays on the skin by wearing a cap, scarf, etc. Exposure of skin to direct sunlight can lead to skin cancer. Hence, it is better to use a sun-screen lotion with less oil content.
