Students Awaits the Announcement of Semester Exam Dates
Students from the Anna University affiliated colleges, awaits their announcement of semester exam dates, usually it set to be held by next month.
Till now the exam dates has been altered twice and
finally the university has finalized the date of 19 May for the second, fourth
and sixth semester exams and eight semester exams alone get advanced so as to
be complete it before the election in April.
The timetable of the semester exams will be
available during the first week of April, a university official said.
We are still in the fear, that the exam dates may
change further, to avoid conflicting with the election dates, said Sandhya, a
third year mechanical engineering student.
Students of the Anna university main colleges like College
of Engineering, Guindy and Alagappa College of Technology will be taking up
their semester exams during April.
As our exam dates yet to publish, students who are
planning to appear for the GRE in July wont be getting enough time to prepare
themselves, said a student.
It will be benefit for Students from far-off places to know the exam dates in advance, as they can book the ticket in advance for their study holidays. The related officials are not in a position to state on the delay.
